Irving Ave. Restoration

The design concept to restore the landscape of this home was carefully planned. The clients wanted to retain the lush feeling of a large lawn but agreed to reduce the sod area by enlarging the beds and  creating a repurposed path made of slate and old brick pieces found on-site.

By enlarging the entrance walk with a pebble border to contain the path lighting, planting several new trees and enlarging the planting beds we created a much more vibrant garden.  As the bed wraps around the southwest side of the lawn the added combination of California Natives create a textured and bio-diverse landscape.
